An Evening of Art by Suchi Chidambaram

Date:  Evening reception Friday 17 May 2019, 6-9pm with exhibition continuing through to Saturday 18 May 11am-6pm.

Venue:  Kindred Bradmore House, Queen Caroline Street W6 9BW.

Please join us for an exhibition, ‘An Evening of Art by Suchi Chidambaram in aid of MAD 4 Africa’ generously hosted by Kindred. There will be short presentation at 7:15pm from Suchi about her work and from Alison Hawksley from Make a Difference 4 Africa.

Kindred, is the stunningly beautiful, new co-working community space in Hammersmith and the evening is specifically in aid of our ASFA Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre project, although there will be an update about the our projects at Rusuzumiro School and Muganza School, school partners with Barnes Primary School, Barnes London and Thomson House School , Mortlake London respectively.

Entry is FREE with a soft drink on arrival and a pay bar for the rest of the night! We hope you don’t mind this arrangement but it allows us to give all donations to our projects which is where we believe they should go.

Suchi Chidambaram is a painter, born and raised in India, now living and working in London. Mainly self-taught, her work focuses on narrating her experience of a place and its people through rapid palette knife marks using oil paints. She held her first solo exhibition in London in 2006 and has since exhibited internationally, including India, Italy, Bahrain, UAE, Oman and England.

Dancers, oil on canvas, 30 x 30 cm, inspired by a photograph from our travels to Muganza, will be available by silent auction, subject to a reserve of £500. Estimate £600-£800. Kindly email your bids to bids@mad4africa.com or place a bid on the night!
